Chichibu Magojiro

More samurai!
This time is Chichibu Magojirō, a retainer of the Hōjō clan during the late 16th century. His armor, a kantō go mai dō (関東五枚胴), represents one of the late stages of development of samurai armor, and is a predecessor of the famous Sendai dō, used extensively by the Date clan.
In the second image you can see how the armor looks nowdays. Kind of a rare sight, considering that most of us are used to see very late sengoku period/edo period armor, in very pristine conditions.
