Imrahil, Prince of Dol Amroth

Finally this dude! My favorite secondary character of all Lord of the Rings!

As usual, byzantine inspired gear, consisting on mail, vambraces, a helmet with aventail, spaulders, a (not shown) klivanion under a padded surcoat with a decorated leather harness. The "diagonal" cloak is taken from a lot of byzantine frescoes where the characters wear their cloaks in this way.
I think in my head the padded surcoat (Which probably was not worn historically. My design certainly isn't) is a piece of gear only worn by the men of Dol Amroth, and maybe some knights of the White City, while the knights of the other regions wear their armors uncovered.
The helmet is inspired in a Hellenistic design which combines a Phrygian and a Boeotian helmets. I made it taller, with swan wings and a swan head on top, and made out of Mithril, like the helmets of the citadel guards.
Lastly, the weapons are the typical stuff for cataphracts. A mace, a spathion sword, and a lance. He would also carry a shield on battle.
